Davao 3D4N Solo Trip Under 5,000 Pesos

Yes, that already includes airfare.

I am notoriously frugal on just about anything. I am always in constant pursuit of ways to save money and traveling is no exemption. If you are a regular reader of this blog, you would know how I prepared for my first ever solo DIY frugal trip in Davao because I blogged about it. If you haven’t read that post yet, then here is your chance.

Sharing here my expense breakdown for my Davao trip, with some suggestions and witty comments LOL.

(Because I was such a genius doing my tour in midday, I almost fainted due to the heat of the sun. After stopping by the Church to pray and thank the Lord for the safe trip, I then walked and looked for a place to buy an umbrella and ended up at an air-conditioned store, Unitop, a godsend, but my expenses here were totally unnecessary)

DAY 2    TALIKUD AND SAMAL ISLAND ADVENTURE

DAY 3:   HAGIMIT FALLS, BACK TO DAVAO CITY, THEN MANILA

(Took amazing photos, made friends with the guide and some tourists, jumped on one of the falls. I did not stay long at Hagimit Falls as I was actually chasing the 12NN mass at San Pedro Cathedral as that’s the only English Mass I could attend, the next would be at 6PM, which is too late. I can’t speak nor understand Cebuano)

The flight was delayed, I boarded the plane at 0015H and reached NAIA 3 by 0225H. My family fetched me so free transportation home 🙂
